First Industrial Realty Trust Developing Second Building at First Aurora Commerce Center in Denver's I-70 East/Airport Submarket
First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. is a leading integrated owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, is developing its second building at First Aurora Commerce Center in Denver's I-70.East/Airport submarket.

Construction has commenced on a 588,085 square-foot state-of-the-art logistics center with a total estimated investment of $53 million. The facility will feature 36’ clear heights, 117 dock-high doors, 4 drive-in doors, 136 trailer stalls, 362 auto spaces, ESFR sprinklers and LED lighting.

First Industrial to develop 555,840 sf at I-70 & E-470
First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. has launched its first development in the Denver market in 16 years with a new industrial park at Interstate 70 and E-470.

The Chicago-based real estate investment trust, a longtime player in the Denver industrial market, is kicking off First Aurora Commerce Center with a 555,840-square foot speculative, state-of-the-art distribution building. Representing a $38.3 million investment, it will be followed by up to four more buildings of 130,000 to 587,000 sf.

New 138-acre industrial park coming
to Aurora

An industrial park with five buildings containing up to 1.9 million square feet is coming to Aurora.

Developed by Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR), the project is called First Aurora Commerce Center. First Industrial acquired the 138-acre site near the intersection of E-470 and I-70, at E 26th and Picadilly Rd., for $8.8 million.

First Industrial Developing 1.9M SF Industrial Park in Aurora
First Industrial Realty Trust has acquired a 138-acre site in Aurora where it plans to develop a 1.9M SF speculative industrial park called First Aurora Commerce Center.

Construction has started on the first phase of the development, a 555,840 SF logistics center with an estimated investment of $38.3M. First Industrial paid $8.8M for the site, which can accommodate up to 1.9M SF in five buildings.
